Islamic and British Rule Over India

I will be as objective as I can while stating my thoughts about it ... It was NOT that India never experienced battles or wars before the Islamic Invasion ... Of course there were many small states in the Indian Subcontinent ... who were all Hindus ... However they too had clashes amongst them ... winning and losing was quite "known" even at that time ... The differences between battles or wars among "Hindu only" and "Hindu and Islam" were, Hindu believed in following certain "ethics" even during a battle or war, while Islamic war used to be "non-ethical" and "barbaric" ... I believe that we could have won the Islamic war by believing in "intelligence" ... Indian Intelligence should have known that time, that Islam does not believe in following any ethics and is barbaric ... Indian spies during those times should have had a fair idea of how Islamic rule is ... taking a look at their countries, the way they treat thei...

India, America and Trust

Indians are more sort of "reserved" species, when it comes to interactions... Americans are "friendly first and reserved later" ... Americans go "reserve" only if they encounter some bad experiences with their personal interactions ...otherwise they are "friendly" ... For Americans "trust" is the default setting in interactions ... in case if interactions go wrong, Americans withdraw the "trust" factor ... It works exactly opposite in case of "Indians" .. for Indians it is "reserved first friendly later" ... Indians go friendly only if they have a lot of positive experiences with their interactions ... and "a lot of", is really subjective ... varies from person to person ... Indians may not prefer to be friendly, if they don't want at all ... for example, in case of the "business interactions" ... In case of Indians, the trust factor gets established, only after many interactions .....

India, Pakistan and the World - Be "Givers" than "Takers"

I think you are being funny and sarcastic for India and Pakistan... Both India and Pakistan had only "incoming traffic" of goods for a long time after independence... As a result, they remained like "small children" in the world's eye... only "takers" ... not "givers" ... It takes time for children to grow up and become "grateful" for others... to look around the world and then analyse where they stand... And of course I can understand that the situation of our beginning era could be held responsible for that... However India recovered from that situation and now we have "two way traffic" of goods across countries. I can only say that India could have recovered faster... however "better late than never" ... And I wish good for Pakistan to also start this "two way traffic" ... and both these countries become "givers" than "takers" ...

FortKochi

A dream world ... I can't find any other phrase for it ... and I do not want to come out of it ... a dream world created almost 300 to 400 years ago ...by the Portugese, Dutch and the British... and still preserved to a large extent ... a small town created near the sea shore ... deep sea ... surrounded by black rocks ... the sea shows different emotions at different times ... sometimes peaceful ... sometimes aggressive ... sometimes angry ... as long as it is peaceful, no issues ... the moment it shows its aggression or anger, then God help you ... when it is peaceful, it will give a gentle knock at the door of the shore ... when it becomes aggresive, we can feel the pressure at the shore ... and when it is angry, it simply throws you out of the shore ... sea ... God's creation ... vast ... deep ... oh, while looking at the sea, I forgot that it is also a port ... the ships ... the giant cargo ships ... the fishing ships ... adorn the sea ...that's a creation of mankind ....
